Your Role

As the Director of Marketing and Communications you will lead the strategic execution of Caltech’s marketing initiatives, brand management, and communications strategies. You will play a key role in shaping our brand’s presence across various channels, overseeing high-impact campaigns, managing public relations efforts, and leading communication initiatives that align with organizational growth and transformation.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing and executing marketing strategies focused on brand awareness to increase visibility, recognition and recall among target audiences.
  • Creating and implementing media plans, ensuring the brand maintains high visibility in key markets.
  • Continuously assessing and evolving Caltech’s brand identity, messaging and visual assets to align with industry trends and target audience preferences.
  • Providing marketing budget oversight, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI on campaigns and events.
  • Fostering relationships with community partners and industry organizations to build brand reputation and drive awareness.
  • Leading internal initiatives to promote Caltech’s services, enabling employees to market these services to clients.
  • Setting and monitoring KPIs, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed business goals for engagement, lead generation, and brand recognition.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of events, ensuring they align with Caltech’s brand identity.
  • Developing, managing and implementing corporate communication strategies that support internal and external stakeholder engagement.
Your Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Post Secondary degree or in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar position (or equivalent combination of education and experience), with at least 3 years in a Leadership position.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms (including platform management software).
  • Strong, effective, and authentic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional editing abilities.
  • Experience in graphic design.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor others.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and adaptability.
