Survey Field Supervisor – Patterson Lake, SK

What You’ll Do
- Lead a field crew on exciting surveying projects.
- Operate and maintain survey equipment.
- Ensure accurate data collection and timely submission of field notes and computations.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to drive success.
- Support Caltech’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Program.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in surveying/geomatics or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and chainsaws.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with Trimble equipment, RTK GPS, and line locating.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and client service.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
Working Conditions
- This position will require travelling to Patterson Lake, SK and living in camp accommodation while working on site.
- Extensive fieldwork in all weather conditions.
- Lifting (up to 50 lbs), walking/climbing on uneven terrain, bending, and operating equipment (ATV/UTV/snowmobile).
- Use of manual tools and technology (laptop, drawings).
- Overtime may be required.
