Caltech Achieves Outstanding 99% Score in 2026 COR Maintenance Audit
Caltech is proud to announce that we achieved an exceptional 99% overall score in our 2026 Internal Certificate of Recognition (COR) Maintenance Audit, with no audit element scoring below 94%.
The audit was conducted between May 4 and June 4, 2026, and evaluated the effectiveness of our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Program across operations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
Taking a Close Look at Our Operations
The audit included:
- A detailed review of Caltech’s HSE Program documentation from the previous 12 months.
- Employee interviews representing all departments and levels of the organization.
- Visits to our Regina head office, six permanent office locations, and six remote field work sites across our operations in Western Canada.
The results reflect the strength of our HSE Program and the commitment employees across the company bring to health and safety every day.
“It’s a tremendous score. It highlights the strength of our health and safety program and shows that safety is embraced across the entire company. Safety is part of our culture, and I’m very proud to see this 99% result.” Jade McLeod, President.
Team Effort
“A score like this is the result of employees working together. Whether it’s following procedures, identifying hazards, looking out for coworkers, or finding ways to improve, every person at Caltech plays a role in creating a safe workplace.” Lee Cole, Director, QHSE.
Looking Ahead
While we’re extremely proud of this achievement, we know there’s always room to improve.
Over the coming months, we’ll be developing our 2026 COR Audit Action Plan based on the auditor’s recommendations. These opportunities for improvement will be reviewed during upcoming HSE meetings and incorporated into our ongoing efforts to strengthen our HSE Program.
Thank You, Team Caltech
Achieving a 99.4% COR Maintenance Audit score is an outstanding accomplishment and something everyone at Caltech should be proud of.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the audit process and to all employees who contribute to making safety a priority every day. Whether you’re working in the field, in one of our offices, or supporting operations behind the scenes, your commitment plays a direct role in achievements like this.
This result reflects what can be accomplished when everyone works together toward the same goal; “Everyone Home Safe Everyday”
